The
1st Go-Round had showed the brute strength of the Bulls that had been
brought to the finals this year. Coming into the 2nd Go-Round the
Cowboys came back strong with twice as many covering their bulls than
the 1st Round. Justin Carlton defending Year-end Champion scored
the highest in the first rounds with an 84 point ride on #7
from the Double J Rodeo
company’s herd.

The
Bull Riders voted to have Curt Anderson, and Todd Pettigrew this year as
Federation Finals Bullfighters; Chris Lewis was chosen as the alternate.
Their skill and quick thinking in the face of danger showed us why the
cowboys had voted in favor of these guys.
Their non-stop fast paced action continued throughout the finals,
it seemed like they were mind readers as their moves were in sync with the
bulls. It was an awesome
display of cowboy protection to witness.
