2002 Miss NFPB Contestants |

This years Miss NFPB Queen Pageant was very competitive with 7 contestants contending for the crown. Reigning Miss NFPB, Melissa Millward handed her crown over to 18-year-old Kelsea Walker of Murray, KY. Kelsea will spend the next year representing the NFPB throughout the Midwest at events as Miss NFPB 2002. She is attending Murray State University and majoring in Agriculture Communications. Kelsea hopes to pursue a media career in the rodeo and equine field. She is a member of the Murray State University Rodeo Team, National Inter College Rodeo Association and International Professional Rodeo Association. She feels that the sport of bull riding is human, extreme and exceeds all other sports due to the mental and physical levels of personal dedication and competitive agility. |

Kelsea also won the modeling, horsemanship, and speech competition. Christy Porter was the winner of the Congeniality and People’s Choice Award and Billie Jo Elton won the Photogenic Award. |
